• • <br /> and in the issuance of the bonds have existed, happened and <br /> been performed in due time, form and manner as required by <br /> law, including the Charter and the Ordinance, and the Dis- <br /> trict is now authorized pursuant to each and every require- <br /> ment of law to incur indebtedness in the manner and form as <br /> in this resolution provided. <br /> Section 2. Bonds of the District in the aggregate <br /> principal amount of $1,615,000 shall issue pursuant to the <br /> Ordinance to pay the cost of the acquisition, construction, <br /> improvement, maintenance and operation of the District Pro - <br /> ject set forth in the following measure, to wit: <br /> MEASURE (B): Shall Redwood City General <br /> (District Improvement District No. 2 -65 <br /> No. 2 -65 incur a general obligation <br /> Water System bonded indebtedness in the <br /> Improvement principal amount of $1,615,000 <br /> Project) for the acquisition, construc- <br /> tion, improvement, maintenance <br /> and operation of the following district pro - <br /> ject, to wit: Water System Improvement Pro- <br /> ject comprising (a) improvements and addi- <br /> tions to existing water supply and distribu- <br /> tion facilities; (b) new pumping, storage and <br /> transmission system; (c) new central indicat- <br /> ing and control system; (d) lands, rights of <br /> way and easements for any or all of said <br /> works; and (e) other works, property or <br /> structures necessary or convenient for said <br /> project? <br /> Section 3. The bonds shall be issued as hereinafter <br /> set forth, and shall be sold in accordance with law. The bonds <br /> shall be$1,615,000 in aggregate principal amount and shall be <br /> known as "Redwood City General Improvement District No. 2 -65 <br /> 1966 Water Bonds." The bonds shall be negotiable in form, and <br /> of the character known as serial and shall be 323 in number, <br /> numbered consecutively from 1 to 323, both inclusive, of the <br /> denomination of $5,000 each. The bonds shall be dated <br /> January 15, 1966 (which is hereby fixed and determined to be <br /> the date of the issue of the bonds). <br /> 3 <br />
