The City's cngagcmcnt <br /> community building and communications activities are significant <br /> strategic functions for engaging the community as partners with the <br /> City, and in connecting neighbors with neighbors. <br /> Redwood City's community building and communications play a role in Engagc our <br /> residents' perceptions and attitudes — the recent neighborhood survey ncighborhoods as <br /> shows there is a strong sense of community among residents, and a partncrs with thc <br /> solid level of satisfaction with City services — including an acceptance common goal of <br /> improving thc <br /> and tolerance of necessary reductions in those services. The survey communit`�'s hcalth, <br /> also indicates residents have a fairly strong sense of optimism about safct`�, and wcll bcing <br /> the future, which is both gratifying and encouraging. <br />
