Staff is <br /> Fostcr a widc rangc of being trained to maintain and update the new database. This will allow <br /> markct ratc housing staff to better track the types and locations of businesses throughout the <br /> dcvclopmcnt City. This business tracking database will make it easier for staff to <br /> identify and analyze the different types of businesses and their locations, <br /> where certain types are clustering for positive synergy, where others are <br /> clustering with a less positive impact, track growth of businesses (as a <br /> business retention tool), target new businesses to "fill in"business-type <br /> needs in certain locations, and to best accommodate the overall <br /> complementary business mix that is crucial to a healthy local economy. <br />
