The City's Cool City Team will convene in scgmcnts of thc <br /> early 2011 to discuss the next steps for completing the City's 2010 communitv <br /> GHG Emissions Inventory for City operations. It is anticipated that the � <br /> City will receive technical assistance from San Mateo County Energy <br /> Watch and Joint Venture Silicon Valley to complete the inventory. <br /> The IBS Energy Management System, Portfolio Manager, and GHG Attract and retain a <br /> Emissions Inventory will together provide the City with the data and highl`� qualificd <br /> tools needed to track and continue to identify opportunities for energy municipal workforcc <br /> and cost savings in City operations. <br /> Sustain efforts to maintain the City as clean, inviting, and <br /> aesthetically pleasing, throughout all segments of the community Bc in a statc of <br /> rcadincss for funding <br /> • Continue to offer opportunities for the public to be engaged in opportunitics <br /> improvement, beautification, and enhancement of the community <br /> The annual Mayor's Beautification Recognition program was <br /> successfully implemented, along with both the spring and fall cleanup <br /> days, which drew several hundred participants. Both are largely Takc a long-tcrm <br /> coordinated by volunteers. The City's Downtown code enforcement approach to planning <br /> for thc futurc of <br /> officer has maintained close contact with Downtown businesses, to Rcdwood Cit`�, across <br /> assist in ensuring compliance with City ordinances related to garbage, all dcpartmcntal issucs <br /> dumping, and other issues with visual impact. Code enforcement and arcas of scrvicc <br /> volunteers continue to assist the City with identifying possible code <br /> violations. <br />
