Become a member of and implement the Regional Training <br /> Consortium, by December 31 , 2010 <br /> Lcad b`� cxamplc b`� The City officially became a member of the County's Regional Training <br /> implcmcnting and Consortium in November of 2010. City staff is highly involved in the <br /> supporting climatc <br /> protcction and design of the training consortium, with a staff inember serving as chair of <br /> sustainabilitv the consortium committee's governing body and another staff inember <br /> programs working on the planning committee. To date, the consortium has <br /> conducted three county-wide trainings and academies, and the group is <br /> developing the learning management system for implementation by <br /> member agencies scheduled for the end of this fiscal year. <br /> Sustain cfforts to ge in a state of readiness for funding opportunities <br /> maintain thc City as <br /> cican,inviting, and . Establish the Citywide Task Force for Grant and Alternative Funding, <br /> acsthctically plcasing, by December 31 , 2010. Group will research and seek out funding <br /> throughout all <br /> scgmcnts of thc opportunities for specific projects; develop process to expedite grant <br /> communitv writing and funding applications, and help make all applications <br /> V extremely competitive. <br /> The Citywide task force has been established, with representatives of <br /> departments seeking grants sitting as members of the task force. City staff partnered with staff in other San Mateo <br /> for thc futurc of <br /> Rcdwood Cit`�, across County agencies to implement the Regional Training and Development <br /> all dcpartmcntal issucs consortium to provide cost-effective training solutions for city and county <br /> and arcas of scrvicc employees on a region-wide basis. <br />
