For more, see page 8. <br />. <br />.................... <br />SACRED SITES PROTECTION BILL (SB 18) CONTINUES TO <br />UNDERMINE LOCAL LAND USE AUTHORITY <br />: <br />Although cities are interested in ensuring, to the extent possible, that land <br />' <br />use planning and decision - making processes respect and preserve Native <br />• <br />American sacred sites, the League continues to have strong reservations about <br />the process established by SB 18 (Burton) for protecting sacred sites across <br />■ <br />California.
