� - le - i <br />EXHIBIT A <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />EL CENTRO DE LIBERTAD /THE FREEDOM CENTER <br />FISCAL YEAR 2003/2004 <br />CONTRACT OBJECTIVES <br />El Centro de Libertad will provide an alcohol and drug education <br />prevention program to 83 youth attending the following Redwood <br />City schools: the Community Day School and alternative school <br />meeting at the Fair Oaks Community Center, the Continuation and <br />SAMP programs at Redwood High School, and the Courts <br />Community School Central in Redwood City. <br />- 66 of these youth (80 %) will attend a minimum of 12 sessions, <br />thus graduating from the Program and earning a certificate of <br />completion. <br />- All of the 66 youth graduating from the Program will demonstrate <br />increased awareness of: a)the genetic and environmental causes of <br />addiction; b) their own risk factors; and c)the community resources <br />that can help them address their problems. <br />
