G. i F -2 z <br />EXHIBIT A <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />HUMAN INVESTMENT PROJECT (HIP Housing) <br />FISCAL YEAR 2003/04 <br />CONTRACT OBJECTIVES <br />Program Objectives: <br />- Place 6 -7 Redwood City single parents and 9 -12 Redwood City <br />children in affordable housing <br />• Implement Housing Authority Certificates. <br />• Manage two service- enriched shared living residences in <br />Redwood City to provide affordable housing to 6 -7 single - <br />parent families. <br />• Provide subsidized, affordable housing to two single - parent <br />families who live independently in HIP Housing owned <br />apartment units in Redwood City. <br />- Provide on going case management to oversee and monitor <br />progress towards self - sufficiency for 6 -7 Redwood City single - <br />parent families. <br />• Provide guidance and support through monthly or bi- <br />monthly meetings. <br />• Connect 6 -7 Redwood City families with resources for child <br />care, employment, financial assistance and appropriate <br />counseling. <br />Provide 12 Life Skills Workshops for developing self - sufficiency <br />skills. <br />
