Based on documents received and conversations we have <br />had, we propose the following professional services to continue the urban design project Freedman <br />Tung & Bottemley (FTB) has undertaken. Specifically FMG Architects (FMG) shall be the architectural <br />firm of record and develop documents necessary to have the project bid and constructed. <br /> <br />The project is divided into 4 phases as established by FTB. <br /> <br />Phase I. Project Start-Up: <br />1. FMG shall receive required information from FTB. This shall include site surveys, topographic <br />data, geotechnical reports, preliminary design documents, detailed programs and requirements <br />for specialty items such as food service, and other drawings and reports that may be pertinent <br />to the project. <br />2. FMG shall attend a kick-off meeting at FTB offices with all team members to establish a <br />detailed division of the work required. <br />3. FMG shall attend an additional meeting with FTB's lighting designer and our electrical <br />engineer to discuss the lighting requirements and parameters for the project. <br />4. FMG shall develop a project delivery schedule to be presented to FTB for review and revision. <br />5. FMG shall conduct a constructability review based on the documents received and the design <br />intent established by FTB. The results shall be transmitted to FTB for review and comment. <br />6. FMG's subconsultant shall develop a preliminary cost estimate based on supplied documents. <br /> <br />Phase II. Prepare 60% Submittal: <br />1. FMG shall meet with FTB, their subconsultants, and our subconsultants to better define project <br />definition and delivery requirements. <br />2. FTB will deliver additional drawings and details to better explain the design intent of <br />ornamental items. FMG will consult with FTB to assure the constructability of those items and <br />do additional detailing as may be necessary to include those items in the final construction <br />documents. <br />3. FMG shall prepare design documents to a 60% completion level. Drawings shall be done in <br />AutoCAD and specifications in MS Word. <br />a. Site location plan <br />b. Kiosk plans, planter plans, fountain plans. <br />c. Sections and details as required. <br />d. Schedules as required. <br />e. Preliminary electrical and mechanical documentation. <br />f. Samples of unique materials for review. <br />
