WA � WA <br />Ms. Riordan said the letter was prepared for the record only. <br />Principal Planner Passanisi added that the PC can make a decision through its Precise <br />Plan process as to whether it wants to go with staffs recommendztion or Kaiser's <br />suggestions in their letter hand 'id out to the PC. <br />Commissioner McCoy asked if we were seeing the Citys position in the Precise Plan, <br />and does Kaiser have issues with that? <br />Ms. Riordan said most issues have been resolved, and there will be a presentation by <br />staff, FTB, and Kaiser to address the remaining issues. <br />Chair Foust asked for a motion to approve /certify the Final EIR. <br />WS: (Paulson /Seybert) That the Commission certify the Final EIR for the Kaiser <br />Permanente Medical Center Master Plan including an addendum to the Final EIR that <br />incorporates the revised water demand projections, with the additional changes to the <br />Mitigation Monitoring Reporting Plan Section VQ -5.1 that following the word "unused" <br />(as reference to unused property), shall read "unused as defined in the Precise Plan", <br />and where it reads ... "visual improvements shall be implemented and approved by the <br />Community Development Director ... ", add the words "and further entities as defined <br />within the Precise Plan ". <br />Motioned passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Passanisi said that this decision can be appealed within seven calendar days to the <br />City Council. <br />6. (b) RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO <br />INITIATE AND CONSIDER A ZONING MAP AMENDMENT AND TO RECOMMEND <br />THAT THE CITY COUNCIL ADOPT THE ZONING MAP AMENDMENT AND <br />ASSOCIATED PRECISE PLAN — PUBLIC HEARING <br />M /S: (Seybert/Radcliffe) to adopt the Resolution of Intention of the Planning Commission <br />of the City of Redwood City to initiate and consider a Zoning Map Amendment to rezone <br />the real property at the Kaiser Permanente Downtown Medical Campus from "CA" <br />(Commercial Administrative) and 'CB" (Central Business) to "P" (Planned Community <br />District), and hold a Public Hearing on same. <br />Motion Passed unanimously (after some discussion). <br />DISCUSSION AND INTRODUCTION OF THE PRECISE PLAN <br />Chair Foust gave the order of presentations: <br />1. Introduction by Planning Manager Church <br />2. Precise Plan Overview by Terry Bottomley (Consultant), <br />3. Open the Public Hearing (give Kaiser the opportunity to speak first,) and then public <br />comment. <br />Chair Foust said the Options are: <br />1.
