commit an average of 25 hours per week to the project, which is expected to lie completed <br />by late October 2003. Additional technical services (submittal reviews, testing repor etc.) <br />are included in the Task Order to support the field work. The not -to- exceed value of Task <br />Order No. 5 is $63,500.00. <br />Task Order No. 6 is designed to provide flexible, professional support services to the Task <br />Force on an as- needed basis, and as requested by th9 Task Force and its facilitator. <br />Kennedy / Jenks will assign a project engineer who has Worked in the project team and is <br />fully familiar with the work accomplished to date and the charge of the Task Force. Since <br />the Task Force has not yet formed, staff has budgeted hours and dollar amounts based on <br />up to 10 Task Force meetings, with allowances for research and creation of work products <br />between each set of meetings. There is also a sizable contingency amount included to <br />ensure that the work of the Task Force is not impeded should they require services, <br />support and /or work products beyond the assumed level of activity. The not -to- exceed <br />value of Task Order No. 6 is $70,960.00. <br />Alternatives <br />1. Do not approve the task orders and provide alternative direction to staff <br />2. Amend the scope and not -to- exceed amounts of the task orders <br />Fiscal Impact <br />The total not -to- exceed value of the original Kennedy /Jenks agreement and four task <br />orders was $578,500.00. With the addition of Task Order No. 5 and 6, the amended <br />contract cap will be $712,960.00.
