Should roadwork in the stated parade route and festival area not be completed to allow these activities to take place as planned, alterations to the parade route and festival area shall only be permitted under the direction and approval of the Chief of Police or his designee. Dates and Times: The parade and fireworks display shall be conducted on Friday, July 4, 2003. The parade line-up and staging area shall be reserved between 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The parade route shall be reserved from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The fireworks display will begin at 9:30 p.m. and conclude at approximately 10:00 p.m. The arts & crafts fair and festival shall be conducted on July 4th & 5th and shall be conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 4th and 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 5th. Insurance: Permittee shall provide the City commercial general liability insurance coverage for any and all activities permitted hereunder in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, naming the City, its City Council, commissions, committees, boards, officers, employees, and agents (collectively, the "City-insureds") as insureds or additional insureds. If the City-insureds are covered as additional insureds, the Permittee shall provide endorsements to the policy which shall provide that: (i) said insurance shall be primary insurance with respect to the City- insureds, (ii) apply separately to each insured against whom claim is made or suit is brought, except with respect to the limits of the insured's liability (cross liability endorsement), and (iii) name the City-insureds as additional insureds. Permittee shall furnish evidence of such insurance coverage in a form satisfactory to the City at least ten (10) days prior to commencement of the event. Dama.qe to Public Property: Permittee shall reimburse City for the costs for any damages to City-owned property in the vicinity of the designated areas, caused by or arising out of the conducting of the event permitted hereunder, or the acts or omissions to act of persons participating in said event. All signs or other markings placed in or upon public property, including the public right-of-way in connection with said event, shall be removed immediately following said event. Compliance With Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and applicable rules, regulations, and laws in connection with the conducting of said event or any and all activities associated therewith.
