LETTER OF AGREEMENT <br /> <br />During the recently concluded negotiations between the City of Redwood City and the <br />Police Officers Association (POA), the following understandings were achieved: <br /> <br />1. Labor-Management Task Force on Layoff Procedures <br /> <br />During the term of the 1993-1995 MOU between the City and POA, the City will <br />establish a task force to include representatives of the City and all impacted <br />employee groups to develop recommendations to the City on a uniform layoff <br />policy and procedure. POA will participate in such a task force. <br /> <br />2. Labor-Management Task Force on Health Care Cost Containment <br /> <br />The City will convene a task force to include representatives of the City and all <br />impacted employee groups to develop recommendations to the participating <br />groups and the City regarding the most cost effective provisions for medical and <br />dental coverage to be offered during open enrollment for the City's 125 Plan <br />during May, 1994. <br /> <br />3.
