Phase One (April through June 2003) <br /> <br />Components <br />1) Initial Consultations: Advise and assist with initial effort to communicate water <br /> quality and safety. Advise on best approaches for communications with <br /> policymakers, community and media. Based on an average of 6 hours per week. <br /> a) Available for consultations as needed <br /> b) Assist with water safety concerns <br /> c) Assist with refinement of and focus on a clear message <br /> <br /> Budgeted: $15,000 <br /> <br />2) Outreach Contact Manager: Coordinate the establishment of a contact manager for <br /> communicating with special interest groups, businesses, school districts and <br /> potential residential users. Guide customization requirements. <br /> a) Assist city in purchasing (5) user licenses FrontRange's Goldmine 6.0 <br /> b) Assist in coordination with Kennedy Jenk's (K J) IT staff to install and configure <br /> database <br /> c) Customize and adapt fields for RC recycled water initiative <br /> d) Train 2 RC users, 2 KJ IT staff and 1 RC IT staff on basic usage <br /> e) Software installation, customization and testing. Train and support KJ & RC ~T <br /> staff for on going maintenance and awareness of Goldmine 6.0 software <br /> f) Enter initial mailing list data to communicate with 700 petitioners and approx. <br /> 300 members of interest groups such as local business groups and property <br /> managers. <br /> <br /> Budgeted: $10,500 <br /> <br />3) Initial Communications: Assist in preparing a BackgroundedFact Sheet Tabloid. <br /> Provide assistance with writing, editing, layout and design. Prepare and specify for <br /> city's printer and mail house. Plan distribution and quantities needed. Press check <br /> for quality. <br /> a) Assist in preparing draft and final camera ready Backgrounder/Fact Sheet <br /> layouts <br /> b) Oversee construction and distribution of Backgrounder/Fact Sheet Tabloid <br /> c) Assist in writing and preparing response to 700 petitioners. Printed and mailed <br /> by city's printer and mailhouse <br /> Budgeted: $7,000 <br /> <br /> 4) Web Site: Provide support and advise on Web content and structure in regard to <br /> water use, recycle water, water conservation and specific information related to the <br /> recycled water initiative.
