The City has also requested that <br />Kennedy/Jenks: <br /> <br /> · Discuss Revenue Program Guidelines For Wastewater Agencies, which has <br /> wastewater consumption use, with the State Water Resoumes Control Board, <br /> Division of Water Quality regarding the intended use of the guidelines. <br /> <br /> · Review the assumptions associated with Uniform Building code occupancy load <br /> factors and evaluate whether they are appropriate to be used for projecting <br /> wastewater flow factors for the purpose of estimating water supply needs. <br /> <br />A technical memorandum (tech memo) will be prepared for this task that combines the <br />information for the water demand and sanitary sewer flow estimation methodologies and <br />includes: <br /> <br /> · A matrix that summarizes the water demand estimation methodologies and <br /> factors used by the various cities/agencies by development type, if available. <br /> <br /> · A matrix that summarizes the wastewater flow generation methodologies and <br /> factors used by the various cities/agencies by development type, if available. <br /> <br /> · Brief comparison of the methodologies and copies of the material received in an <br /> appendix. <br /> <br />The tech memo will be prepared in draft form for City review, and then will be finalized after <br />receiving City comments. This task also includes QNQC review of the draft tech memo. It is <br />assumed that no meeting will be required and any comments on the draft tech memo will be <br />received over the phone or in writing. <br /> <br />Task 2- Kaiser Permanente Water Demand Evaluation <br /> <br />As we discussed on 12 March 2003, Kaiser Permanente will provide the following information <br />for the following types of hospital facilities: <br /> <br /> Hospital types: <br /> <br /> a. Up to 3 Kaiser facilities constructed within last 10-15 years and comparable in <br /> beds/square footage to proposed Redwood City hospital <br /> <br /> b. Up to 3 non-Kaiser facilities constructed within last 10-15 years ago and comparable <br /> in beds/square footage to proposed Redwood City hospital <br /> <br /> Information to be provided: <br /> <br /> · Square footage of facility <br /> · Breakdown of facility by function and square footage <br /> · Number of beds <br /> <br /> Page 2 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
