She also prepares general impact assessments involving <br /> land use issues and project alternatives. <br /> Project Experience <br /> San Francisco Public Utility Commission Harry Tracy Water Treatment <br /> Plant Long-Term Improvements Project EIR - San Bruno, California <br /> Project manager for the EIR and several technical studies for the <br /> Harry Tracy Water Treatment Plan (HTWTP) long -term <br /> improvements project, located in San Bruno and Millbrae. The <br /> project seeks to implement extensive improvements related to <br /> treatment process efficiency, delivery reliability, and seismic <br /> reliability - including a new treated water reservoir requiring a <br /> substantial amount of excavation, and pipeline replacements <br /> requiring nighttime work - over a four year construction period. <br /> There are significant construction - related impacts on the surrounding <br /> residential area and school. The project requires working closely <br /> with both the SFPUC and the City of San Francisco Planning <br /> Department. <br /> Facility Improvements at Canada College, Skyline College, and College <br /> of San Mateo (Three Initials Studies) —San Mateo County, California <br /> Project manager for the preparation of three initial studies for San <br /> Mateo County Community College District (District) to address facility <br /> improvement projects at Skyline College in San Bruno, Canada <br /> College in Woodside, and College of San Mateo in San Mateo. <br /> Proposed improvements include construction of new buildings, <br /> renovation of existing buildings and parking lots, demolition of <br /> existing buildings, traffic circulation improvements, and enhancement <br /> of the campus entries and pedestrian corridors. The proposed <br /> improvements are based on recommendations from the District's <br /> 2006 Facilities Master Plan and are part of the District's 2006 Capital <br /> Improvement Program (CIP). The construction impacts are primarily <br /> construction - related, including issues associated with naturally <br /> occurring asbestos in serpentine soils. <br /> Kate Giberson <br />
