1 10 APPROACH <br /> Bkr <br /> EXHIBIT A - SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Task 2e. Meetings and Coordination: <br /> During the Entitlement and Preliminary Engineering Phase, BKF has budgeted time for <br /> three (3) team meetings with Planning and Engineering Staff to review the progress and <br /> complete Tentative Map. We have not included any meetings associated with public <br /> meetings/hearings with the Planning Commission and /or City Council. <br /> Assumptions and Exclusions <br /> The following are excluded from BKF's Scope of Services: <br /> 1. Any services not specifically included in the Scope of Services are excluded <br /> 2. Coordination with Title Company associated with the preparation of a preliminary title <br /> report for the project area. We have assumed that the City will provide this <br /> information; however, if needed, BKF can assist in obtaining the title report for the <br /> project and working with the Title Company as an additional service. <br /> 3. Performing a Boundary Survey and the preparation of a Final Subdivision Map or <br /> Parcel Map for recordation is not part of this Scope of Work. <br /> 4. Attending meetings in addition to those listed under each Task. Additional meetings <br /> will be charged as an additional service on a time and materials basis. <br /> 5. Major revisions to work or drawings that are substantially complete, provided such <br /> revisions are not caused by the actions of BKF, are excluded. <br /> 6. Geotechnical engineering services associated with feasibility analysis, design <br /> parameters, borings, utility potholing, and environmental reviews are excluded from <br /> this Scope of Services. <br /> 7. Land and easement acquisition services are excluded from this Scope of Services. <br /> 8. Any additional updates to the Preliminary Title Report and subsequent reviews will be <br /> considered extra work beyond this Scope of Work. <br /> 9. Location of buried utilities by potholing or excavation is not part of this Scope of <br /> Services. <br /> 10. All work will be performed in AutoCAD 2009. Stormwater Quality Management <br /> Plan: BKF has not included the preparation of a preliminary on -site storm drainage <br /> analysis/report that outlines the proposed on -site storm drainage measures that will <br /> need to be incorporated into the project design in order to address the City's <br /> Stormwater Quality Management Plan.
