Appropriate commercial uses include <br /> destination uses, hospitalitv businesses, lar�e-scale commercial centers, <br /> and hi�h-aualitv office spaces with associated amenities. The purposes of <br /> the MUC-GB sub-district are to: <br /> vi. Facilitate a positive impression and identifiable �atewav to <br /> Redwood Citv throu�h the use of si�nature architecture, invitin� <br /> s v v <br /> ublic plazas, and development that supports a walkable <br /> environment. <br /> vii. Provide opportunities for destination uses in concert with <br /> residential uses. <br /> viii. Foster comprehensive development plans that accommodate the <br /> pedestrian on lar�e-scale sites and encoura�e an appropriatelv <br /> scaled street grid. <br /> C. Aaalicabilitv <br /> The buildin� desi�n standards, site desi�n standards, and anv and all other land use and <br /> development reauirements, standards, re�ulations, or other provisions set forth in this Article <br /> 53 shall applv to all development within the �eo�raphic boundaries established bv and for the <br /> Article, notwithstandin� anv other provision of the Redwood Citv Zonin� Ordinance to the <br /> contrarv.
