December 15 and Thursday. <br />December 16. 2004. All interested parties must attend at least one of the two technical workshops <br />in order for your application to receive consideration: <br /> <br />Workshop I - Public Services, Shelter Operations, Economic Development Programs and other program <br />operations - 2:00 - 4:00 PM <br /> <br />Workshop n - Capital Projects (Housing, Facilities Development) - 2:00 - 4:00 PM <br /> <br />Place: County Office of Housing, 262 Harbor Blvd, Bldg A, Belmont, CA. <br /> <br />RSVP: Call Denise Milner, 650 802-5048 or dmilner@co.sanmateo.ca.us by December 13, 2004. <br /> <br />Eligible applicants - City, County or other public agency, or a qualified 501(c)(3) or -(c)(4) nonprofit <br />organization. <br /> <br />Application Deadline - Applications must be received by Tuesday. January 18.2005.5:00 PM at the County <br />Office of Housing, 262 Harbor Blvd, Bldg A, Belmont. Late or incomplete applications win not be considered <br />for funding - No Exceptions. <br /> <br />Applièation Availability - The Housing and Community Development Program Guidelines will be made <br />available on the County web site at: www.smchsa.ore. (scroll to the bottom of the page) on or about December 1, <br />2004. The Applications win be available in PDF format for your review at that time; The fmal applications win <br />be in Word Format for PC and will be distributed electronically to applicants who sign in at the Mandatory <br />Application Preparation Workshop. Please review the application and guidelines before the technical workshop. <br />Note: The Application will only be made available to those who attend the workshop. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Evaluation Criteria - Applications will be evaluated based on criteria established in the Program Guidelines. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Application Review Process - The Housing and Community Development Committee (HCDC), in working with <br />Staff, will be responsible for making funding recommendations to the County Board of Supervisors. All <br />applicants will be invited to present their application in front of the HCDC during the week of March 15.2005. <br />You will briefly explain your project to one of the three HCDC subcommittees specializing in review of your <br />project.
