Previously, the City approved a telecommunications facility at this <br />site for Verison Wireless, and thus this proposed installation is considered to be a <br />"co-location" at this site, but not a co-location of the existing facilities. The Zoning <br />Administrator considered the application at a Public Hearing held on Wednesday, <br />October 27, 2004. The Architectural Permit for this application was reviewed by the <br />Architectural Review Committee (ARC) on Tuesday, October 26, 2004. <br /> <br />The application includes the installation of six (6) panel antennas mounted inside a <br />new steeple to be constructed on top of an existing church building. Three (3) <br />proposed equipment cabinets would be located within a new equipment enclosure <br />at grade. The project site contains approximately 2.7 acres and is located in the <br />Single-Family Residential "R-1" Zoning District. The Zoning Administrator (based <br />on recommendations from the ARC with respect to the Architectural Permit) and <br />after considering the administrative record for the existing Verizon <br />telecommunications facility, was able to make the following findings and the <br />applications for a Use Permit and an Architectural Permit were approved, subject to <br />the following findings and conditions of approval listed below. The findings <br />consider the cumulative impact of the existing and proposed telecommunications <br />facility. <br />
