On May 22, 2000 the City Council voted to give Eddie's Adult Bookstore a five <br /> year amortization extension commencing from the date that ordinance No. 1130.?.98 went <br /> into effect, which is approximately June 22, 2000. <br /> Since the decision in May of 2000, we have been actively searching for a location where <br /> we may be able to relocate using the guidelines set forth by the ordinance and have been <br /> unsuccessful in finding a l�cation. <br /> Our reasons for requ�sting this is extension are as follows: 1. our lease expirers on <br /> December 31 �` 2005. As a result of terminating our lease ea�rly we are liable to the lesser <br /> penalties for eaxly termination. 2. We need time to visit all the parcels designated by the <br /> map provided to us by the City on March 10, 2005. This map shows upda.ted areas where <br /> an adult business may exist. The map provided has less parcels available than the map <br /> given s�y the City in February of 1999. <br /> We az cont uing to search the city for possible locations to relocate our adult business.
