j— ,
We have made, and are continuing to make good faith efforts to recoup our inveshnen by attempting to
relocate the use to a location in conformance with Section 273 by doing the following:
• Visiting all parcels indicated on the maps provided to us by the City of Redwood City Planning
Department.
o Map originating on February 16, 1999 indicates i O1 potential sites. Of the sites indicated
none were "truly available" that meet both the locational requirements, as set forth by Article
27 of the Zoning Ordinance, and were available as part of the relevant real estate market. The
buildings were either occupied, too large, lacked adequate parking or in areas that had no
retail potential for most any retail business. Many sites were disqualified because they were
within a 1,000 feet of a sensitive use.
o Map Originating on March 10, 2005 indicates 64 potential parcels. Of the parcels indicated
no sites were "truly available" that met both the locational requirements, as set forth by
Article 27 of the Zoning Ordinance, and were ava.ilable as part of the relevant real estate
market. The buildings were either occupied, too large, lacked adequate parking or in areas
that had no retail potential for most any retail business. Many sites were disqualified because
they were within a 1,000 feet of a sensitive use.
• Contacting real estate companies and leasing companies to help in the search of commercial spaces
in Redwood City. We have used the following companies:
o Cashin Company Realtors
o BT Cominercial
o Arsan Realty
o Colliers International
These companies have not been successful in finding qualified sites for our relocation. '
We are continuing to search the city for possible locations to relocate our adult business on a day-to-day
basis. Your consideration for an extension of time would be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Frank Romero
District Manager
99 Sixth Street
San Francisco, CA 94102
