6.1.13. - Page 29 <br />TENTATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />SERVICE EMPLOYEES INTERNATIONAL UNION (SEIU) LOCAL 521 <br />FIRE PREVENTION OFFICERS <br />Upon mutual agreement of the City, IAFF and SEIU, the SEIU bargaining unit will be <br />modified to exclude the Fire Prevention Officers (FPOs). FPOs will be transferred to <br />the Fire unit represented by the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF). <br />PENSION COST EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTION TO EMPLOYER PERS <br />SHARE <br />Effective the first full pay period beginning on or after February 1, 2012, each worker <br />will pay two percent (2 %) toward the employer contribution for pension, in accordance <br />with California Government Code Section 20516(f). <br />Effective the first full pay period beginning on or after February 1, 2013 and ending the <br />pay period includino January 31, 2014 each worker will pay an additional one and <br />eight- tenths percent (1.8 %) for a total of three and eight- tenths percent (3.8 %) toward <br />the employer contribution for pension, in accordance with California Government Code <br />Section 20516(f). <br />TWO TIER PENSION: S)- 'b <br />Workers hired before date of amendment of City's contract with PERS: <br />2.7% at 55 pension formula for miscellaneous workers, calculated on 1 year highest <br />compensation, worker pays member contribution <br />Eh' .aotti go <br />2% at 60 pension formula for miscellaneous workers, calculated on average of 3 <br />years highest pay, worker pays member contribution <br />HOLIDAYS: <br />Two Administrative holidays will not be granted in 2013. <br />1110 1[011 Ici 0 <br />Between February 1, 2012 and January 31, 2013, workers will take one (1) unpaid <br />furlough day. <br />Effective February 1, 2013, workers will take three (3) unpaid furlough days per year. <br />Page 3 of 30 <br />LAN <br />
