�.�-51 Autocirc (ACT 303-B'IW) Start up Procedures 7ima r Controlled Operation It dmer �ntralled aperatlon is desired, the timer may be progremmed to allow the Auroarc to operata during the hours desi2d (i.e. "ON" from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and "OFF" from 9:Q0 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) as follows: • Open the timer cove�r and rotate the dial dodcwise until the correct time is aligned with the pointer (►) on the dial face. If the indicaWr cannot be located on the face of the dmer. there is an addiUonal arrow indicaNr (1) on the side of tha timer. Be certain to choose fhe cortect "AM" or "PM" dme. • Pull all the tabs upward or outward during the Ve►slon A Ve�slon B time you want the Autocirc to operate automati- calty. (Puh Ne tabs "upward" an Timer Version A _ _ d� � or push the tabs oulward on Timer Version B). � • On Timer Version A, each tab is a 30-minute incremenL On Timer Version B, each tab is a . 15-minute increment. As an example, if the deaired time of operation is belween 7:00 a.m. ' and 9:00 p.m., all of the tabs between 7:00 _ a.m. and 9:00 p.m. should 6e pulled upward or - - pushed outward. • Slide the sw�tch bar to `timeT. The timer mode will provide the most cost e8ective method of operadon and can be progremmed to run only during the time periods when hot water is most frequenUy required. Even during conholled timer operetion, ine Autoarc will only Wm on when the built-in thermostat senses that additional hot water is required at fhe point of installaUon. Thermostat Operation Nlode � To operate tha Autodre'thertnostadcally' without the dmer, siide the switch to the `on° �- � � posiGor. In the `on" pasition the pump runs "automatically", wheneve! the builFin thertno- stat senses the reguireme�t for hat water. When timer conV011ed operafion is reswned, the Autocirc will operate during the previously programmed time sequence(s). Note: The Aulodre wiN probably start running immediately and. tum.off after a few minutes � once hot water reachas fhe faucet. It will fhen continua cycling `on' and 'otP as required dunng the programmed sequence of operation. Do not be wncemed if the pump does not begin running immediately atter tfie pump is plugged in.
