The Action Plan and Application prepared for submission to the United <br /> �. <br /> States Department of Housing and Urban Development for a Community Development <br /> Block Grant pursuant to Title I of the Housing and Community Develo�ment Act of <br /> 1974, copies of which as well as the Consolidated Plan are on file in the office of the <br /> Community Development Services Department of the City of Redwood City, are hereby <br /> approved. <br /> 2. The City Council does hereby certify that the City of Redwood City has <br /> followed its adopted Citizen Participation Plan as required by Section 104(a) of the Act. <br /> 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and file the Application <br /> and all related documents, including all understandings and assurances necessary or <br /> appropriate in connection therewith, and to provide such additional information as may <br /> be required for and on behatf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> `� 4.
