��� <br /> Committee held another public meeting to solidify their recommendations on all funding <br /> -_.- sources and to forward their recommendations to the Planning Commission and City <br /> Council. At this point, a Draft Action Plan was pubiished in local papers for Citizen <br /> Comment before Council approval. Refer to attached Affidavit of Public�tion. <br /> The Planning Commission has jurisdiction over land use in Redwood i•ity. AI; <br /> capital and land use type projects were reviewed by the Commission to determine that <br /> the projects proposed for funding were consistent with the City's General Plan. <br /> Following the Commission's action, the entire Action Plan is forvvarded to City Council <br /> for their review. <br /> A Public Hearing is scheduled to be held by the City Council on April 26, 2004 <br /> giving all interested parties another opportunity to appeal to the Council regarding <br /> projects and funding amounts. The schedule of the public meetings and publication <br /> dates are shown on the attached Calendar. <br /> Citizen Comments related to the City's commitment to continue developing affordable <br /> housing and using federal funds to acquire sites so that housing could be targeted to <br /> very low income households witFi the greatest housing need. <br /> 2 <br />
