��I �-� <br /> The structural designer shall utilize the recommendations of the <br /> Geotechnical Engineer's report as fumished by the City. <br /> ➢ Foundation Plans <br /> ➢ Framing Plar�s with structu:al members located and sized <br /> ➢ Details and Sections <br /> ➢ Footings, beams, columns, and connection schedules. <br /> e. Mechanical: Mechanical Plans shall provide adequate information to ensure <br /> complete and accurate mechanical installation. Plans shall as a minimum <br /> include: <br /> ➢ Plot Plan: Required for all outside mechanical systems and shall show <br /> all new systems and structures served. <br /> ➢ Pipinq and Duct Work Plans: <br /> ■ Heating, ventilating and air conditioning system work shall not be <br /> shown on the same drawing with the plumbing system work. <br /> ■ Piping and ductwork plans shall be coordinated with the <br /> architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical plans. <br /> • It is mandatory that adequate space for maintenance including <br /> removal of tube bundles, etc. be provided. <br /> • Clearly define where all work begins and ends. <br /> � Elevations and Sections: Mechanical elevations and/or sections shail be <br /> shown where vertical dimensions are significant in the design. Sufficient <br /> elevations and sections shall be provided in large enough scale that <br /> mechanical services can be taken off without guessing at vertical <br /> lengths and fittings. <br /> : Details: Plans shall include such details as necessary to enable the <br /> contractor to properly fabricate, assemble and/or install equipment or <br /> systems as shown. .�etails shall be to a scale large enough to ensura <br /> clarity. Congested areas and racked piping shall be dimensioned to <br /> provide adequate clearance for clamps, hangers, insulation, flanges, <br /> valves, fittings, etc. <br /> � Pipinq Diaqrams: Isometric and/or schematic diagrams showing the <br /> piping configurations, flows and connections shall be prepared to <br /> -9- <br />
