<br /> 7.A -30 ~ <br /> 5. the outlet pipe design through the channel wall ("Typical Storm Drain Connection to <br /> Drainage Channel,' detail on Sheet 2 of 2) shall be adjusted to the satisfaction of <br /> Engineering and Construction. <br /> E. SEWER FACILITIES. <br /> 1. The sewer facilities shail be designed according to the requirements of Part VI, <br /> Volume III of the Standards and the applicable Standard Details (Volume II). <br /> 2. The City of Redwood City will maintain the sewer lines to the cleanouts. <br /> 3. The proposed sewer line is very shallow in the street. The finish floor elevation of <br /> the houses may have to be raised to provide adequate sewer outlet. <br /> 4. A sanitary sewer manhole may be required at the south end of the sewer line <br /> located in the privatB street aligned in north-south direction. <br /> F. WATER DISTRIBUTION <br /> 1. The water system shall be designed according to the requirements of Part VII of <br /> Volume III of the Standards and in compliance with the Standard Details (Volume <br /> II). <br /> 2. The City of Redwood City will maintain all water mains and services to the water <br /> meters. <br /> G. UTILITY SERVICES <br /> 1 , The electrical distribution system, the gas, the telephone and Cable TV facilities <br /> shall be placed underground according to the standards of the utility companies. <br /> The alignment of these installations shall be approved by the Engineering Division. <br /> 2. Continuous inspections shall be provided by a Soils Engineer at the developer's <br /> expense during all trenching and backfilling operations. The Soils Engineer shall <br /> take compaction tests of the trench backfill, and shall submit the test results to <br /> Engineering and Construction, insuring certification of the compaction requirements <br /> as the work progresses. <br /> 3. The developer shall make arrangements, including the payment of construction cost <br /> as necessary, for the installation of facilities for cable television. <br /> H. TRAFFIC CONTROL STRIPING. SIGNING AND STREET LIGHTING <br /> 1. Traffic control, striping, signing and streBt lighting shall be designed according to <br /> the requirements of Part VIII ,Volume III of the. Standards and applicable Standard <br /> Details (Volume II). <br /> 2. The Homeowners' Association shall maintain all street lights within the private <br /> street. <br /> 3 <br />
