Alternative Congestion Relief Programs 1% $ 15 Million <br /> Up to one percent of the revenues is allocated for TA staff salaries and benefits. <br /> Further detail on the specific program within each category is provided in the <br /> Transportation Expenditure Plan Summary and Project Description sections of this <br /> plan. <br /> Oversi~ht and Administration <br /> ~ <br /> The implementation of the Transportation Expenditure Plan will be the continuing <br /> responsibility of the current San Mateo County Transportation Authority. The TA is <br /> composed of seven elected officials representing the Cities in the County, the County of <br /> San Mateo and the San Mateo County Transit District <br /> The TA will be responsible for developing and updating a strategic plan to guide <br /> allocation decisions. The TA will develop the initial strategic plan by December 31, <br /> 2008, and prepare and update it at least every five years during the term of the <br /> Measure. <br /> The Citizens Advisory Committee established under the original Measure A will <br /> continue to advise the TA. The TA also will work closely and cooperatively with the <br /> California Department of Transportatlon (Caltrans), the Metropolitan Transportation <br /> Commission (MTC) and the San Mateo City and County Association of Governments <br /> (C/CAG) on the programming of grant funding for Transportation Expenditure Plan <br /> programs and projects. <br /> - <br /> 4 <br /> .- <br />
