Liedstrand, doing business as Liedstrand Associates <br /> Recommendation <br /> Authorize the City Manager and the Executive Director to Execute the Agreement between <br /> the City of Redwood City, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City, and <br /> Liedstrand Associates for consulting services <br /> Background <br /> The purpose for this agreement is to modify the current agreement in order to reduce <br /> Bruce Liedstrand's time and to focus his energy in specific important areas. Bruce will <br /> provide the City of Redwood City and the Redevelopment Agency with consulting services <br /> for the City of Redwood City's Community Development Services Department and the <br /> City's Redevelopment Agency as outlined in Exhibit "A" of the attached agreement. <br /> Bruce will continue to bring his considerable skills and passion for urban design/public <br /> places to the projects listed in Exhibit "A." Bruce has extensive knowledge, experience <br /> and a history of successful outcomes in the areas of downtown revitalization and <br /> redevelopment. He will serve as the "Program Consultant" on these projects with the <br /> assistance of others within the department as appropriate. Once these projects have <br /> received final architectural approval, where appropriate, these projects will be <br /> transitioned to the Community Development Director for construction and follow up to <br /> project completion. Bruce will be reporting directly to the City Manager on the projects <br /> listed in Exhibit "A" and has agreed to serve in this capacity until completion of projects. <br /> Alternative <br /> Council could choose not to enter into this agreement. <br /> Fiscal Impact <br /> This agreement will be fully funded by the City of Redwood City's Redevelopment Agency. <br /> The st of the contract will not exceed $90,000.00. <br /> Susan oeller, e evelopment Manager E ere , ity Man ger <br />
