Consult with and provide strategies and recommendations to City and Agency for <br /> the revitalization of City's downtown area. <br /> 2. Consult with and provide strategies and recommendations to City and Agency <br /> regarding implementation of the following projects: <br /> a. Retail Cinema/Broadway-Theater Way Streetscape Project <br /> b. Courthouse Restoration and Plaza <br /> c. Block 2 Acquisition and Development <br /> d. Depot Circle and integration of Sequoia Station and the train into <br /> downtown <br /> e. Development of housing downtown, including at least one market-rate, for <br /> sale, housing in downtown <br /> f. Urban design and public places in downtown <br /> 3. Provide urban design advice/consultation to the Community Development <br /> Department and the City Manager. <br /> 4. Provide such other services as may from time to time be assigned by the City <br /> Manager and accepted by Contractor. <br /> 5. The consultant's role and responsibility for the above mentioned projects will <br /> generally cease upon the Architectural Review Committee or Council's design <br /> approval of the above mentioned projects. It shall be the responsibility of the <br /> City Manager to extend or contract the role of the Consultant on the above <br /> mentioned projects. <br /> CD/Liedstrand Contract 9 <br /> 071504 <br />
