RESOLUTION 14584 OF THE COUNCIL OF T� �E CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, REQUESTING AND AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ��CONTROLLER TO LEVY THE BENEFIT ASSESSMENTS FOR FY 2004-2005 FOr2 THE REDWOOD SHORES LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1995-1 AND AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR TO COLLECT SUCH ASSESSMENTS C. By resolution (1) approve Memorandum of Understanding with the Service Employees' International Union Local 715; (2) authorize amendments of the Salary and Wage Plan for classifications represented by the Senrice Employee's International Union Local 715 in January 23, 2006 and January 22, 2007. Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council, by resolution, approve a new Memorandum of Understanding with the Service Employees' International Union Local 715 for the period of February 1, 2004 through January 31, 2008. It is also recommended that the City Council, by resolution, approve the January 23, 2006 and January 22, 2007 amendments of the Salary and Wage Plan for the classifications represented by the Service Employees' International Union Local 715. Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council introduce an ordinance amending certain sections of the Redwood City Municipal Code, Chapter 2., Article VII, Purchasing, with respect to awarding contracts for public works and improvements to be in conformance with the recently amended Chapter 67 of the Redwood City Charter, approved by the voters in the November 4, 2003 General Municipal Election.
