Capital Improvement Program — FY 2004-2005 and FY 2005-2006 First Study <br /> Session <br /> Supervising Civil Engineer Chang explained the program utilizing a PowerPoint <br /> presentation and answered questions of Council. He summarized by stating that <br /> there are eight funding sources to support the Capital Improvement Program. In <br /> 2004/05 the proposal is for a budget of approximately $13,536,864 and in 2005/06 <br /> the proposal is for $10,287,000. <br /> City Manager Everett clarified that various funds are designated for specific use <br /> and therefore cannot be transferred to the General Fund. <br /> Council Members reviewed and provided direction to staff regarding the FY 2004- <br /> 2005 a nd F Y 2 005-2006 C apital I mprovement Program (CIP) Expenditures and <br /> Priorities. <br /> 9. STAFF REPORTS <br /> A. Approval of the Draft Transportation Expenditure Plan for the Extension of <br /> Measure "A." <br /> Interim Manager, Engineering and Construction Manager Lynch stated that the <br /> various agencies in San Mateo County must approve the Plan for the extension. <br /> He further explained the many benefits of the Measure, if approved. ,_ <br /> � <br /> Public Comment: <br /> Morton Frank, as a citizen and a member of the Citizens Advisory Committee of <br /> the Transif Authority, urged support and approval of the Plan.
