.�i��� <br /> B) Obliqations Of The Elementarv School District And Redwood Citv 2020 <br /> Form a representative leadership team which will: <br /> i) Participate in Gardner Center academy sessions and contribute to other <br /> cross activities and events. <br /> ii) Develop a blueprint for the Community � chools in partnership with the <br /> �� Gardner Center. , <br /> iii) Provide over5ight for the implem�entation, e°.�aluation, and promotion of local " <br /> project activities in accordance with the Community School design features - <br /> shared leadership, comprehensive family and youth resources, academic <br /> supports and youth engagement. <br /> 4) COMMUNICATION AND FEEDBACK LOOPS <br /> For the purpose of supporting ongoing and regular communication between the <br /> various parties, <br /> A) The Gardner Center Shall: <br /> i) Designate its Community Liaison, who is funded and supervised by the <br /> Gardner Center, to work with the identified leadership team in the areas of <br /> shared leadership and youth engagement, and to support efforts to develop <br /> comprehensive family and youth resources and academic supports. This <br /> liaison will also serve as a primary facilitator, information sharer, and broker <br /> befinreen the Gardner Center and the leadership team of ACSD as it related to <br /> the work agreed upon between the Parties hereto. <br /> B) The Elementarv School District And Redwood Citv 2020 (through its leadership <br /> team) Shall: <br /> i) Identify and support a key community contact for ACSD for day-to-day <br /> logistics and communications matters related to the initiative. For the <br /> purpose of this initiative, these contacts will be the Redwood City Family <br /> Centers Director, the Elementary School District AssiStant Superintendent, <br /> � and the Redwood City 2020 Executive Director. ' <br /> 5) TERM <br /> The effective date of this Agreement is October 1, 2003, and unless earlier terminated <br /> pursuant to paragraph 6 below, the termination date shall be June 30, 2004. <br /> 6) TERMINATION <br /> The Gardner Center or the Elementary School District or Redwood City 2020 may <br /> terminate this Agreement by giving the non-terminating parties sixty (60) days prior <br /> written notice. <br /> 7) RESOURCE ALLOCATION <br /> Gardner Center will contribute a sum of up to $60,000 ("Funds") to the Elementary <br /> School District to support the purpose of this Agreement. These funds can be used to <br /> further the work of Community Schools in Redwood City, which can include but is not <br /> - limited to: suRporting �staff that wiN support the local planning and early implementaxion <br /> efforts, providing stipends for participants of the leadership team, and funding to offset <br /> costs for substitutes for participating teachers.
