Box 478 Redwood City, CA 94063 Dear Honorable Council Members, The Peninsula Celebration Association (PCA) wishes to make a fonnal request to conduct our Annual Independence Day activities in Downtown Redwood City on Sunday, July 4,2004. The following is a summary of the planned events: 1. The Annual Independence Day Parade will start at 10:00 AM at Brewster and Winslow. 2. The Arts & Crafts Fair and Festival hours of operation will be 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 3. Fireworks display (launched from a barge) starting at approximately 9:30 PM at the Port of Redwood City. The locations of the planned activities are as follows: Festival area is defined to include the following streets: (see appropriate map) Jefferson Ave. from Veterans Blvd. to Marshall St. Bradford St. from Main St. to Middlefield Rd. The Parade Lineup area is defined to include the following streets: (see appropriate map) Arguello St. from Whipple Ave. to Brewster Ave. Warren St. from Whipple Ave. to Bradford St.. Allerton St. from Whipple Ave. to Winslow St. Winslow St. from Howland St. to Marshall St..
