I D~q <br /> <br />The parade route will be defined as starting at Winslow St. and Brewster Ave. proceeding to Veterans <br />Blvd., turning right into the South bound lanes of Veterans Blvd. to Main St., turning right onto Main St. <br />to Marshall St., proceeding on Marshall St. to Arguello St., turning right onto Arguello St. and <br />tenninating at Brewster Ave. <br /> <br />The following support services are requested: <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation: <br /> <br />Deliver available bleachers to Marshall Street between Hamilton and Winslow streets, prior to and pick <br />up after the Parade. (Place on sidewalk in front of Law Library). <br /> <br />Open the gates at the Marshall Street parking structure after 6 PM on July 3 and leave open until nonnal <br />operations on July 5. <br /> <br />Public Works: <br /> <br />1. Provide two street sweepers to be available at approximately 10:00 AM to pick up horse droppings <br />along the Parade Route and the designated horse lineup areas. Street sweeping is also requested for the <br />Festival area at approximately 7:00 PM after the Festival has closed on Sunday, July 4. <br />¡tis requested that street sweeping in the Festival area not begin until 7:00 PM to allow vendors to <br />complete their breakdown and leave the area. <br /> <br />2. Provide street barricades for the Parade and Festival Area at the locations and times listed in <br />Appendix B. <br /> <br />3. Provide traffic cones and street barricades for the Parade Route and other traffic diversion <br />requirements as detennined by the Police Department. PCA requested barricades for the Parade <br />route need to be delivered by 7:00 AM Sunday, July 4. The locations and quantity of these <br />barricades listed in Appendix B. <br /> <br />4. Provide street barricades at the Port of Redwood City for traffic control for the fireworks display. <br />The locations and quantity of barricades requested is in Appendix B. <br /> <br />5. Install American Flags along the Parade Route immediately before the Parade. We would like to <br />have the CitY inventory the remainin!! fla!!s and assist with determinin!! new positions for thefla!!s <br />due to a chan!!e in the Parade Route. On July 4, the flags are to be removed as soon as possible after <br />the Parade, to reduce the possibility of theft. <br /> <br />6. Use of a Fire Hydrant for Antique Fire Truck demonstration in the Festival Area following the <br />Parade on July 4. Deliver sandbags ifrequested by PC A, to divert water runoff from the Antique Fire <br />Truck demonstration. Specific locations and quantities of sandbags requested will be provided by the <br />PCA <br /> <br />7. Use of parking structure on Marshall Street for Handicap and Vendor parking on Sunday, July 4 and <br />the use of the City Parking lot at Winslow and Hamilton from 6:00 PM Saturday, July 3 until 8:00 <br />PM Sunday, July 4. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />PCA July 4th, 2004 Page 2 of 10 <br />- <br />
