I D~q The parade route will be defined as starting at Winslow St. and Brewster Ave. proceeding to Veterans Blvd., turning right into the South bound lanes of Veterans Blvd. to Main St., turning right onto Main St. to Marshall St., proceeding on Marshall St. to Arguello St., turning right onto Arguello St. and tenninating at Brewster Ave. The following support services are requested: Parks and Recreation: Deliver available bleachers to Marshall Street between Hamilton and Winslow streets, prior to and pick up after the Parade. (Place on sidewalk in front of Law Library). Open the gates at the Marshall Street parking structure after 6 PM on July 3 and leave open until nonnal operations on July 5. Public Works: 1. Provide two street sweepers to be available at approximately 10:00 AM to pick up horse droppings along the Parade Route and the designated horse lineup areas. Street sweeping is also requested for the Festival area at approximately 7:00 PM after the Festival has closed on Sunday, July 4. ¡tis requested that street sweeping in the Festival area not begin until 7:00 PM to allow vendors to complete their breakdown and leave the area. 2. Provide street barricades for the Parade and Festival Area at the locations and times listed in Appendix B. 3. Provide traffic cones and street barricades for the Parade Route and other traffic diversion requirements as detennined by the Police Department. PCA requested barricades for the Parade route need to be delivered by 7:00 AM Sunday, July 4. The locations and quantity of these barricades listed in Appendix B. 4. Provide street barricades at the Port of Redwood City for traffic control for the fireworks display. The locations and quantity of barricades requested is in Appendix B. 5. Install American Flags along the Parade Route immediately before the Parade. We would like to have the CitY inventory the remainin!! fla!!s and assist with determinin!! new positions for thefla!!s due to a chan!!e in the Parade Route. On July 4, the flags are to be removed as soon as possible after the Parade, to reduce the possibility of theft. 6. Use of a Fire Hydrant for Antique Fire Truck demonstration in the Festival Area following the Parade on July 4. Deliver sandbags ifrequested by PC A, to divert water runoff from the Antique Fire Truck demonstration. Specific locations and quantities of sandbags requested will be provided by the PCA 7. Use of parking structure on Marshall Street for Handicap and Vendor parking on Sunday, July 4 and the use of the City Parking lot at Winslow and Hamilton from 6:00 PM Saturday, July 3 until 8:00 PM Sunday, July 4.
