<br /> 7C <br /> Page 8 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING FISCAL YEAR 2006-2007 PARKING FUND <br />BUDGET <br />WHEREAS, THE City Council of Redwood City adopted Resolution No. 14721 <br />approving its Fiscal Year 2006-2007 budget; and <br />WHEREAS, the Community Development Services Department is requesting <br />additional funding in the amount of Four Hundred Two Thousand Nine Hundred and <br />Fifty Seven Dollars (402,957) for the purchase of computerized "pay-by-space" parking <br />meters; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved a Parking Management Plan on July 25, <br />2005 in order to ensure efficient use of the public supply as parking demand rises; and <br />WHEREAS, the Parking Management Plan recommended installing <br />computerized "pay-by-space" parking meters in the Downtown core in order to most <br />effectively manage parking; and <br />WHEREAS, additional funding the total amount of $402.957 from Parking Fund <br />resources held in reserve are necessary to purchase the above-described equipment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The following stated amounts are hereby appropriated and transferred <br />from the parking fund resources held in reserve and are appropriated or transferred as <br />follows: <br />Amount Account Number <br />$402,957 681-65132 -40 <br />2.
