Engineer review and written authorization #rom City Engineer is required to <br /> insure that the �nal design meets the City's structural requirements. If <br /> however, structural calcula#ions determine tha#the attachment af the lanterns to <br /> the s#reetlight poles is not feasible, then RDA has the right to terminate the <br /> cantract. <br /> 2. Written authorization to either praceed or to terminate contract will be given <br /> upon engineer review. <br /> 3. Payment: 1f stnactural plans are approved and sealed, there is no payment at <br /> this step. <br /> Step Four: PROGRESS VISIT - 50% Fabricatian <br /> Due Date: December 1, 2006 <br /> 1. Visit artist's studio. RDA will review the Artwork during the fabrication process <br /> at 50°/p fabrication. RDA will review the Artwork in person as determined by <br /> RDA, and will make a good faith effort to identify and advise Artist of any <br /> potential problems with the fabrication process or performance standards <br /> concems. Upon reasonable advance notice to Artist, RDA may elect to review <br /> the work in person at any t�me during the fabrica#ion process. <br /> 2. Written authorization will be given to pr�ceed to S#ep Fi�e upon wr€tten approva! <br /> afi the defiverables by ROA. <br /> 3. Payment: RDA wil# make the Third Interim Payment of$33,60�.00 upon receipt <br /> of an acceptable invoice submitted approved by RDA. <br /> Step Five: COMPLETE FABRICATION <br /> Due Date: January '!, 2006 <br /> 1. Approval and Acceptance of the Artwork: Submit 100% comp{eted Artwork. <br /> RDA will review the Artwork upan its completian. Artist shall give RDA at least 14 <br /> cafendar days notice of this �eview milesfone. Engineering and RDA wil! review <br /> and inspec# the Artwork, and sha11 determine whether all of the design elements, <br /> deliverables and milestones far the Arlwork have been met. <br /> 2. Written authorization wil! be given to proceed to Step Six upon written approval of <br /> the deliverables by RDA. <br />
