Two local business owners attended. <br /> Welcome!Introductions/Background: Rich Berry from the Redwood City Community <br /> Working Group on Bicycle and Pedestrian Issues wel.conned everyone to the meeting an.d. <br /> provided some background information on the Community Warking Group. Rich mex►tioned <br /> outreach efforts by the Working Group and the City in noticing the meeting. Other members of. <br /> the Working Group,City staff and PCRC were introduced. <br /> Presentation:Traffic Engineer Rich Haygood gave a presentation on traffic data for Industrial <br /> Way and Redwood City arterial and major collector streets. He also outlined 2 bike la�1e <br /> proposals fvr continuing the bike lanes fram San Carlos along Tndustrial Way to 1Nhipple <br /> Avenue in Redwood Ci.ty. <br /> • 4ption 1: <br /> o Reduce 4 traffic lanes to 3 traffic lar►es(with a center left turn lane.) <br /> o Add bicycle lanes on the noxth and south bc+und sides ef the str�t. <br /> o This option would not affect on-stree#parking. <br /> • Option 2: <br /> o Keep 4 traffic lanes <br /> o add bicycle lanes on the north and sauth bound sides o.f the street. <br /> � R�move parking on the west side of Industrial, �vhich is ti}e <br /> residential side o£the street. <br /> Small Group Discussion: <br /> Participants separated into 2 groups and addressed the following questions <br /> l.
