<br />6.10 <br />The single bidder, Pump Repair Service Company is able to provide the full scope of Page 2 <br />services to the many different types of sizes of pumps in our utility system. <br /> <br />Alternatives <br />1. Direct staff to solicit individual bids on an as-needed basis. However, this could <br />place the City in a vulnerable position if one of these pumps fails. Repair and <br />reconditioning of pumps is critical and delay due to the time involved to solicit bids <br />puts the City at risk. <br /> <br />2.
