<br />~/ t?-6 <br /> <br />( '.~ <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />( . / <br /> <br />. . <br /> <br />Section 2.6 <br /> <br />Attendanc;e <br /> <br />Suggested: Any member who has three (3) consecutive absences from regularly <br />scheduled meetings without providing the chairperson of the Committee with prior <br />notice, or any member who has five (5) absences from regularly scheduled meeting in <br />any consecutive twelve months without providing the chairperson of the Committee with <br />prior notice shall be deemed to have resigned. <br /> <br />Section 2.7 <br /> <br />Com pensation <br /> <br />The Committee members shall serve without compensation, <br /> <br />Section 2.8 <br /> <br />Regular Meetings <br /> <br />The Committee shall provide by resolution the time and place for the holding of regular <br />meetings. .. <br /> <br />Section 2.9 <br /> <br />Special Meetings <br /> <br />Special Meetings are any meetings other than those designated in Section 2,7 of these <br />by-laws. Such Special Meetings shall be held whenever called by the Committee Chair <br />or any two (2) voting members of the Committee. <br /> <br />Section 2.10 <br /> <br />Notice of Meetings <br /> <br />Notice of all Regular and Special Meetings shall be posted in City Hall and the Main <br />Library no less than 72 hours prior to the meeting. Notice to and material for the <br />Committee shall be made available no less than 24 hours before any Special Meeting. <br /> <br />Section 2.11 <br /> <br />Quorum <br /> <br />A majority of the voting members of the Committee shall constitute a quorum. In the <br />absence of a quorum at any meeting, a majority of the members present may adjourn <br />the meeting. A meeting at which a quorum is initially present but then lost may not <br />continue to discuss items on the agenda, and may not vote, except to adjourn. <br /> <br />Section 2.12 <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />Any meeting of the Committee, whether or not a quorum is present, may be adjourned <br />to another time and place by a vote of a majority of the members present. Notice of the <br />time and place of the meeting to be adjourned to shall be given to members and posted <br />no less than 24 hours prior to the time the adjourned meeting, <br /> <br />4 <br />
