<br />$. /cz-)?" <br /> <br />f <br /> <br />I ' <br /> <br />ARTICLE III <br /> <br />OFFICERS <br /> <br />Section 3.1 <br /> <br />Officers <br /> <br />The officers of the Committee shall be Chair and a Vice Chair and shall be elected from <br />the membership of the Committee pursuant to MO 96-311 dated December 16, 1996 <br />(attached to and incorporated by reference into these by-laws). <br /> <br />Section 3.2 <br /> <br />Election and Term <br /> <br />The Officers of the Committee shall be elected annually at the first regular meeting in <br />July. No officer shall serve more than two successive one-year terms in any position. <br /> <br />Section 3.3 <br /> <br />Resignation <br /> <br />Any officer may resign at any time by giving wrítten notice to the Committee. Any such <br />resignation shall take effect at the date of receipt of such, or by any later time specified <br />therein. The acceptance of such resignation shall not be necessary to make it effective. <br /> <br />Section 3.4 <br /> <br />Committee Chair <br /> <br />The Committee Chair shall, if present, preside at all meetings of the Committee and <br />exercise and perform such other powers and perform such of the duties as from to time <br />may be prescribed for them by the Committee . <br /> <br />Section 3.5 <br /> <br />Vice Chair <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />In the absence or disability of the Committee Chair, the Vice-Chair shall perform the <br />duties of the Committee Chair, and when so acting, shall have all the powers of, and be <br />subject to all restrictions upon the Chairperson. The Vice-Chair shall have such other <br />powers and perform such of the duties as from to time may be prescribed for them by <br />the Committee. <br /> <br />ARTICLE IV <br /> <br />SUBCOMMITTEES <br /> <br />Section 4.1 <br /> <br />Subcommittees <br /> <br />The Committee may create one or more subcommittees, consisting of those Committee <br />members interested in the specific topic to be addressed. A subcommittee shall be <br />suggested by the Committee Chair or by any two- (2) members of the Committee and <br />be established by an affirmative vote of a majority of the Committee, and shall not <br /> <br />5 <br />
