Review submittals, shop drawings and samples for conformance with the approved design concept of the Project, and for compliance with the information given in the construction documents. 3. FRP Process: Review and evaluate the results of the sculpting of the special reconstruction features required by the project. Include reviews of the fi:1al mock-ups prior to fabrication. Maximum of (2) visits to the fabrication facility. 4. Review and respond to Requests for Information (RF"s) 5. Observe the quality of the work, and endeavor to guard against defects or deficiencies. Such observations will be conducted in conjunction with the periodic OAC meetings. 6. Provide a final site visit to establish date of MSubstantial Completion". Prepare and issue a punch list specifying the work to be completed and / or corrected before final payment is issued. Construction Closeout Phase 1. Prepare architectural record documents upon receipt of as-built information from general contractor. Changes shall be compiled from a paste-up of field issued information. New CAD work is not included, ENGINEERING CONSULTATION To be provided per attached proposals: 1. Structural: DES 2. Electrical & Plumbing: Alfa Tech, Inc. SCHEDULE Refer to the attached Project Sc:'edule. ASSUMPTIONS The following assumptions form the basis of this proposal: 1. No changes to the previously approved construction documents, which includes city plan check process. 2. All DES work, and related responsibilities, will end prior to start of the work on the plaza. 3. The plaza work will conform to the reconstruction work, wherever possible. 4. Our fee is based on the period of time shown on the Project Schedule. EXCLUSIONS The following services are not included in our Basic Services fee, but can be provided on a negotiated fee or time and expense basis per the attached Schedule of Charges. 1. Discovered conditions in the field that result in: . Extensive investigation . Modifications to the documents . Changes to the design . Reconciliation of dimensions per existing conditions 2. Plaza related work. 3. Security and telephone - data design 4. Building permit application fees 5. Coordination of bidding process, except as included in scope of work 6. Artwork selection or placement 7. Signage, other than code required signage. 8. Removal or assessment of hazardous materials 9.
