The proposed fee will provide the number of <br />hours as shown in the attached Fee Projection. We will not exceed this amount without your prior <br />approval. . <br /> <br />Reimbursable Expenses <br />An allowance, as shown on attached Summary of Compensation, should be budgeted for <br />reimbursable expenses for a project of this size, These expenses, which are not included in our <br />basic services fee, will be billed per the attached Schedule of Charges. Note: Reproduction of <br />construction documents shall be by Barker Blue and paid for by the City <br /> <br />Additional Services <br />We will provide Additional Services, if requested or required, in accordance with the attached <br />Schedule of Charges. <br /> <br />TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT <br />1. Services will be billed monthly based on a time and expense basis. Payment is expected <br />within 30-days of receipt of invoice. <br />2. Charges for all outside consultants and expenses for printing, deliveries and travel, <br />including local car mileage, will be billed at our cost plus 20%. <br />3. Changes in scope, including deviations from approved design, will be provided on an <br />hourly basis as Additional Services in accordance with our attached Schedule of <br />Charges. <br /> <br />Thank you for giving DES the opportunity to provide the City of Redwood City with our services. <br />We look forward to working with you, and will strive to exceed your expectations.
