e. Mixed Use Corridor - Gateway Broadway (MUC -GB): Purpose <br /> The large parcels on Broadway at Woodside Road •rovide o• •ortunities <br /> for signature development. Appropriate commercial uses include <br /> destination uses. hospitality businesses, large -scale commercial centers, <br /> and high - quality office spaces with associated amenities. The purposes of <br /> the MUC -GB sub - district are to: <br /> vi. Facilitate a positive impression and identifiable gateway to <br /> Redwood City through the use of signature architecture, inviting <br /> public plazas, and development that supports a walkable <br /> environment. <br /> vii. Provide opportunities for destination uses in concert with <br /> residential uses. <br /> viii. Foster comprehensive development plans that accommodate the <br /> pedestrian on large -scale sites and encourage an appropriately <br /> scaled street grid. <br /> C. Applicability <br /> The building design standards. site design standards, and any and all other land use and <br /> development requirements. standards, regulations. or other provisions set forth in this Article <br /> 53 shall apply to all development within the geographic boundaries established by and for the <br /> Article. notwithstanding any other provision of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance to the <br /> contrary. Whenever the requirements, standards. regulations, or other provisions of this Article <br /> conflict with the requirements. standards, regulations or other provisions set forth in the <br /> Redwood City Zoning Ordinance or the Redwood City Municipal Code, the requirements. <br /> standards. regulations, or other provisions in this Article 53 shall govern. <br /> 53.2 Use Regulations <br /> A. Use Regulations by Sub- District <br /> 1. Allowed Land Uses. Table 53 -1 indicates the uses permitted (P), permitted with <br /> a conditional use permit (C), permitted as an accessory use (A), and not <br /> permitted ( -) in each of the five Mixed Use Corridor Zoning Sub - Districts. <br /> 2. Applicable Regulations.
