, <br /> * <br /> . <br /> ARTICLE III <br /> � ROLE OF REDWOOD C[TY 2020 <br /> REDWOOD CITY 2020 is a community collaborative whose fiscal sponsor is the City of <br /> Redwood City, an organization in good standing with the Secretary of State of California. As <br /> a member of the LIBRE Steering Committee, REDWOOD CITY 2020 will: <br /> A. Provide leadership and coordination for this collaborative initiative and serve as <br /> primary contact with the Grove Foundation; <br /> B. Maintain the focus on the overall goals and key strategies as they are implemented in <br /> target communities; <br /> C. Monitor quality and consistency of service delivery; <br /> D. Serve as planning and problem solving group for the initiative; <br /> E. Take responsibility for designing the evaluation of the initiative and collecting and <br /> monitoring data; <br /> F. Make decisions about the equitable allocation of resources in support of initiative <br /> goals; <br /> G. Assist with "messaging" about the work: accurate, consistent, culturally sensitive; and <br /> H. Work closely with community partners to support and build capacity as the initiative <br /> is implemented. <br /> ROLE OF LIBRE Collaborative <br /> The LIBRE,project seeks to inform low-income San Mateo County immigrant families and <br /> individuals about safety net services that they can legally obtain; dispel misunderstandings <br /> about the impact of receiving benefits on their immigration status; provide legal services to <br /> ensure that benefits are obtained; and increase the community's capacity to help <br /> immigrants access safety net benefits. <br /> ARTICLE IV <br /> IMPLEMENTATION <br /> REDWOOD CITY 2020 obligations: ' <br /> 1. Attend and participate in monthly Steering Committee meetings. <br /> 2. Coordinate meetings of the core community partners in its geographic area as <br /> needed to promote the goals of LIBRE, be the main point of contact between LIBRE and <br /> these organizations, and follow up with the partners to collect data and reports for <br /> evaluation of the project. <br /> 3. Take on Steering Committee tasks to support the success of the LIBRE initiative. <br /> LASSMC obligations: <br /> 1. Provide training for REDWOOD CITY 2020 needed to provide the outreach <br /> activities, provide the LIBRE materials, and attend the outreach events as needed and <br /> available. • <br /> LIBRE Steering Committee MOU Phase II 2 <br />
