Accept the Police Chiefs recommendation that this year's LLEBG award be dedicated <br />to the procurement of Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team equipment and <br />Emergency Preparedness Training (rPT). <br />Direct the Police Chief to identify another area to fund within the Bureau of Justice <br />Assistance guidelines. <br />Return the funds to the Bureau of Justice Assistance. <br />Fiscal Impact <br />The LLEBG Grant requires a cash match in the amount of $4,993. Interest derived <br />from the award does not have to be matched, but cannot be used to match the federal <br />award.
