5. The City of Redwood City agrees that when their personnd are used in conjunction <br />with the American Red Cro~s personnel, the Red Cross policies, regulations and procedures <br />will be used to operate the shelter site. <br /> <br />Use of the City of Redwood City personnel as Red Cross volunteers will be based on a <br />mutual agreement between the individual, Red Cross and the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />Should Red Cross request that members of the facility staff be officially asMgned to the <br />shelter, any agreement for financial reimbursement must be reached between the Red <br />Cross Job director and the City of Redwood City within 48 hours of the request. <br /> <br />6. A designee of Red Cro~ Mass Care management and the City of Redwood (~ity will <br />meet periodically to evaluate the necessity for the continuation of shelter operations and to <br />resolve any other operational concerns. <br /> <br />7. Should the City of Redwood City request that a she~ter be relocated before the end <br />of the shelter operations, Red Cross agree~ to relocate within 48 hours of Red Cross and <br />the local government finding a suitable alternate site. But in no instance should the <br />relocation take place in more than 10 days after the City of Redwood City request, unless <br />the ~ of Redwood City waives this requirement in writing. It is understood that it is a <br />local government responsibility to facilitate the transportation of victims when shelter <br />relocation is required. <br /> <br />8. Notwithstanding any other agreements, the American Red Crom agrees to defend, <br />hold harmless, and indemnify the (-~ity of Redwood City against any legal liability in <br />respect to bodily injury, death, property damage arising from the said chapter's use of the <br />property belonging to said City of Redwood City, unle~ such liability is caused by City of <br />Redwood City negligence. <br /> <br /> <br />
