Please forward the
Agreement to the appropriate person. As a recipient of AB 434 funds, it is important to realize
the following:

· Project sponsors will have to sign a Funding Agreement within sixty (60)
days after it has been transmitted to them by C/CAG in order to remain
eligible for the granted TFCA funds. C/CAG may grant a one-time
extension of thirty (30) days to the applicant for just cause.

· The project is funded on a cost reimbursement basis. Up to eight invoices for
payment may be submitted to C/CAG

· The funds expire two years fi.om the date C/CAG receives the funds. This means
that the project must be 100% complete and the funds fully spent within two years.

· Separate accounts must be maintained to account for the AB 434 funds.

· Quarterly financial and status reports must be submitted.

· A final report must be submitted upon completion of the project. It should include
the monitoring results and as a minimum the data necessary to determine the
emission reductions.

· Complete financial data must be provided within 30 days of the end of the fiscal
year and when the project is completed. It is important to submit this information
by the deadline so that C/CAG can submit the required report to Bay Area Air
Quality Management District (BAAQMD) by September 1.
