RELOCATION AGREEMENT <br /> ORIGINAL for <br /> City of Redwood City <br /> <br /> GENERAL CONDITIONS AND STATEMENTS: <br /> <br /> Double Day Office Services, Inc. makes every effort to provide clearly aniculated and <br /> accurate esti]nates. It is a guarantee that actual charges will not vary more than 10% of <br /> the estimate if all agreed conditions remain the stone. <br /> <br /> Costs incurred wlfich are beyond the control of Double Day Office Services, Inc. <br /> including but not lhnited to the following, will be billed to tbe Client, as an extra: <br /> <br /> 1. DELAYS. <br /> a. Delays caused by failure of the Client and/or its contractors to have the new <br /> site ready to receive furniture and/or items to be delivered by Double Day at <br /> the ti]ne scheduled fbr delivery. <br /> <br /> b. Delays caused by Clients failure to provide accurate floor plans and/or <br /> properly label furniture or other items for relocation. The Client shotdd make <br /> sure each item to be delivered to the new space will fit in its designated spot. <br /> Our esti]nate is based on a one-time placement of fumiture. Any additional <br /> placement after our first set will be billed as an extra. <br /> <br /> c. Delays caused by lhnited access to and/or failure~ of elevators at either the <br /> load or unload site. Donble Day Office Services, Inc. will work with the <br /> Client to make arrangements witb the building management at each site, but <br /> ulthnate responsibility for elevator availability and building access belong to <br /> the Client. <br /> <br /> d. Delays caused by inclement weather, storms, earthquakes and otber <br /> extraordinary acts of nature. <br /> <br /> 2. PROJECT MANAGEMENT. Project Management time is allocated within the <br /> Proposal for Relocation. Any additional thne requested by the Client will be billed <br /> on a thne and materials basis. <br /> <br /> 3. MATERIALS. Double Day Office Services, Inc. cam]ot be responsible for <br /> materials after delivery to the Client. Material charges will be based on signed <br /> invoices for materials delivered. Any additional materials and/or deliveries <br /> ordered by the Client will be billed at the sa]ne fees stipulated in the bid. Unused <br /> materials can be returned (on the day of the move) to Double Day for a full refund. <br /> The carton cost reflected in our bid is a rental charge. Client agrees to have all <br /> rented cartons flat, stacked, and available for a one-time pick up seven working <br /> days from date of move.
